Origin: Derived from guar (Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba) beans using a thermo-mechanical treatment to obtain a galactomannan. This is then reacted with an alkylene oxide in the presence of an alkaline catalyst to form hydroxypropyl guar gum.
Also Known As: Hydroxypropyl Guar
